Material Evaluation Agents
Here we go again... Recycle Frog is ready to grow! Our innovative precious metals recycling company needs help to keep up with the increased demand for our services, we’re seeking three (3) responsible, mature Material Evaluation Agents for part time opportunities on our team. Successful candidates will also have the chance to grow within our fast-paced organization, taking on progressively more challenging roles and increased responsibility.
Agents will undergo extensive training to be able to provide expert material evaluations and purchase offers to prospective customers.
Job Description:
As an Evaluation Agent you will be responsible for greeting prospective customers, explaining the evaluation process and conducting a thorough material assessment. Think of it like the 'antiques roadshow' - you will meet some really interesting people and get to evaluate their old gold and silver odds and ends. Once you complete the evaluation you will present the purchase offer - about 99% of the time people are delighted to receive - then we issue payment.

Qualifications:
-- Excellent interpersonal skills
-- Experience working with the general public
-- Responsible, mature, conveys honesty & integrity
-- Competent mathematical skills
-- Knowledge of jewellery (gold) & experience with high value transactions is an asset
-- Direct Sales experience an asset
-- Bilingualism not required but considered an asset
-- You must be able to travel anywhere within the Ottawa valley, have access to a vehicle
-- Selected agents must be available for occasional afternoon & evening work (Friday 12-9) and weekends (Saturday 9-5, Sunday 9-5)
-- Occasional (once a month) overnight travel will be required
While no direct industry experience is required, it will be considered an asset. Complete training will be provided to all qualified candidates.
Compensation:
All qualified candidates will receive an hourly, starting rate of $18/hr.

Ottawa (2); Moncton (3); Halifax (2);
References will be required and criminal background check will be performed for all qualified candidates.
