Christmas Exchange Gold Drive

The Christmas Exchange has selected Recycle Frog’s Gold Drive fundraising program to raise money in support of its vital community services. Families and individuals in need will directly benefit through Christmas Exchange from Gold Drive events taking place in partnership with the City of Ottawa and other corporate and private contributors. A percentage of every transaction will be donated to the Christmas Exchange campaign with Recycle Frog matching all proceeds on a dollar-for-dollar basis.

 

Private and public sector organizations as well as the general public are encouraged to attend an upcoming Christmas Exchange Gold Drive or visit Recycle Frog in person at the World Exchange Plaze to participate. Not only will participants walk away with money in their pocket for simply recycling their old, unwanted gold, silver and platinum jewellery, every transaction will generate a needed and sizeable contribution that will go towards helping those less fortunate during the Christmas season.

Gold Drives are innovative fundraising events that give individuals a convenient way to recycle their unworn and broken jewellery while simultaneously generating money for charitable and community organizations. For example, when considering today’s near record gold prices, typical participant payouts amount to $385.00 and an additional contribution of $54.50 is made to the charity. Both the individual and Christmas Exchange will benefit financially by choosing to participate in this rewarding recycling transaction.
